Designed as a multisensory experience, Riva Spain’s new flagship showroom in the Miami Design District showcases the company’s engineered hardwood flooring made of European white oak in a versatile range of tones and formats. Why did you choose Miami for the flagship store?
Miami is where our U.S. story began in 2018, so it felt like a natural home.
The city’s momentum-from an influx of residents to exponential real estate growth-has created extraordinary opportunities for our products across the market.
And with the Miami Design District emerging as a global destination for high-end brands, this is exactly where we belong.

What can design pros expect during a visit?
A series of stations where products are presented in immersive, museum-style displays. One example is Jewels from Nature, with three gondolas crafted like fine-jewelry cases. Each gondola evokes a distinct atmosphere to help you find your style. Another notable station is the R Design Lab, where you can create something completely unique for you.

Give us the inspiration behind the store’s visual design.
We wanted to create an experience that brings nature inside. Every story has an origin, and for Riva Spain it begins in the forest. This origin comes to life at the showroom’s stations, where you can see, feel and touch the forest’s elements-including soil, leaves, branches, acorns, moss and stone. At the entrance, an 8-foot-tall trunk of European white oak stands proud beside a plank of finished flooring-the refined expression of that raw, untouched tree. Together, they capture our journey from tradition to innovation.
