A top-quality marine grade baltic birch plywood is the best choice after extensive testing, for the stability of the cross-grain layers, for its high density, and for the highest quality glue in the market: 100% formaldehyde-free D4 adhesive, offering unparalleled resistance to moisture and structural integrity.
WOOD GRADING
The grade of hardwood flooring classifies the wood’s visual appearance based on its natural characteristics and is directly influenced by the part of the tree from which it is sourced. At RIVA Spain, we offer two distinct grades: Character and Select.
FIREWOOD
The upper section of the tree is used for firewood, which may not be suitable for flooring due to higher branch density and smaller trunk size.
CHARACTER
Our Character grade highlights White Oak’s natural beauty, featuring unique variations, knots, small cracks, and subtle color shifts. Its varied grain adds depth and warmth for a rustic feel. Harvested from the tree’s middle section, it showcases wood’s natural charm.
SELECT
Our Select grade showcases the refined, premium look of White Oak with minimal variation and a smooth, consistent grain on each plank. Sourced from the base of the tree, this young wood offers a sleek, elegant appearance with very few knots.
